| In the Winter 2007 exam session, I'm pleased to report that for electric guitar, James Rensch, a student I teach privately, achieved Grade 8, and another student I teach privately achieved Grade 7. Well done to both of you! |

| Martin Donald, my guitar teacher and mentor, recently jammed with the legendary Larry Carlton at a Gibson bash promoting Larry's new signature 335 (see pic below). The bass player in the middle is Travis Carlton, Larry's son. Fantastic! |

Summer Classical Guitar Grade News |

| In the Summer 2007 exam session, I'm pleased to report that for classical guitar, a student I teach at Southend High School For Boys achieved Grade 6 Merit, Sean Stone, a student I teach at the Southend Music School achieved Grade 4 Merit, a student I teach at Eastwood Primary School achieved Grade 2, and a student I teach privately achieved Grade 1 Distinction. Well done to you all! |
